Grow with Google Professional Training Program comes to Maryville Dec 11

Grow with Google's Professional Trainer Program workshop will come to Maryville Wednesday, December 11th.

Enterprise Facilitator with Northwest Missouri Enterprise Facilitation Kelly Morris says that CEO Bryan Caplan will speak at The Bridge, about increasing the visibility of businesses in Google's search results.

"What the event is about is really making sure that you can be found as a business owner on Google searches.  So he's going to kind of walk through, making sure you have your google page set up correctly and it can all tie into other websites, to your Facebook account and social media platforms'"

Morris says that cultivating an online presence can sometimes be a struggle for small business owners.

"Sometimes it's an overwhelming process for some of our business owners so it's going to be a very entry level conversation.  But it's a great one.  I learned a lot when I listened to him when he was in St. Joseph."

The event runs from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 11th, and is located at the The Bridge, 1122 S Main Street in Maryville. Seating is limited, registration is free. More information is available at maryvillechamber.com.
